Three adjectives that describe Manolin are...young, lucky, and kind that is shown in this action "The boy took the old army blanket off the bed and spread it over the back of the chair and over the old man's shoulders.".(pp.18)

Thanks again Tatsuya. I appreciate your insights. One thing that bears saying is that the sentences you list as support for the adjectives you choose don't seem to adequately show why you chose those adjectives, especially in the case of the boy.
